i did some update on my nano because the little update thing was bouncing at the bottom of the dock so i updated it and when i did i get an error dialog telling me the the disk is not recognized and i can choose from initialize, cancel, or eject. it then brings up disk repair and cant fix it. wtf is going on?

Edit: I just reset the ipod and i get the same error.

Did you reset it using the software update or by holding down the play button (bottom of the click wheel) and the action button (center button)?

This will sort of reboot the iPod and is a bit akin to zapping PRAM on a Mac. Sorta.

To dislike Sinatra is a sign of highly questionable taste. To dislike the Beatles is a serious character flaw.
