Hi everybody!

I am new to this and I have a few questions about uploading MPEG VX movie from my new Sony W7 to my new iPod Video 60 GB. The main reason I've bought this iPod is not for songs; it's actually for the convenience, when I travel, with my new Sony W7 digital camera along with the 2 GB memory card, I could perhaps take lots of pictures at 7.2MP and record some "okay" video from the camera's own MPEG VX movie. It should record up to about 25 mins. at Fine mode 640 X 480. However, I just bought the camera adaptor along with my new iPod 60 GB and found out that it only takes the picture images; not the MPEG VX movie format. The display on my iPod says that I need to upload onto my PC and use Quicktime to open it before I could download onto my iPod to play.

The problem is, when I travel, I don't have a laptop nor notebook to do that!

Does anybody know if there is a way to resolve this problem? I thought MPEG 4 would be able to play MPEG VX format; I guess not!!?

Sincerely looking for help!!

search here for the ipod video specs. I don't know what mpeg-vx is. I know mpeg-1, mpeg-2, and mpeg-4. Additionally, 640x480 is too large for the ipod. Regardless of mpeg-vx compatability, that's too many pixels for the ipod.
