Okay, i was trying to partition off part of my iPod so i could just use that part as a purly porable HDD, but after the partition very little of the iPod's software was reinstalled, but it still says "do not disconnect". So I undid the partition in DiskUtility and then went to the iPod updater to restore it that way... but, it says it can't because some soft ware is missing. So I thought I'd take the next step up, so i went into Disk Utility again and tried to erase the entire volume, but "Unknown Errors" kept happening, i.e. "Unknown Error -20" ect. Whats happening??
