Hello,

I am not sur if this has been brought up in the past, but here goes. My sister's 4th generation ipod, out of the blue starting acting crazy. The cick wheel just stopped responding. She read somewhere that you could use hair gel to get it working again, and I think she tried that but it was a temporary solution at best. She also tried resetting plenty of times and that allowed the click weel to work again for a very brief while, but it has gone back to not working. Just to clarify, all the buttons work beneath the click wheel work, but scrolling doesn't. In addition, something weird has happened with the hold button, apparently it no longer does anything. the ipod has never been dropped, and has always been taken care of. Has anyone had similar problems or have any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thanks.
