If you’re referring to real media files, the only way I currently know of is to use either Audio Hijack (Pro):

yeah they are real player files but the programs above are only for audio files right? I was thinking if anyone know any softwares that can convert rmv, rmvb (video)files into mpeg4 format so i can put it in my ipod

Ooh... that's a tough one.
To my knowledge, the only way to convert Real Video files to another format on the Mac is Compression Master. It kicks arse but is also $500. Ouch. Defiantly not a casual purchase.

Let's face it... one would have to have a serious collection of Real media porn to pony up five big ones.

well, i've found a few programs using google search and in download.com u have to pay for those ... well personally i've never seen porn vids in rmvb form
