Thanks for any help.
I remember reading somwhere, that using the quicktime export with a video file that has the audio/video in a single track will fail, since it isn't smart enough to separate it into two separate tracks, which the iPod requires. I hope they fix that.
I've had several files like that, and thought I just couldn't hear it, and turned the iPod volume and stereo WAY up. Imagine my surprise when I did have audio!
While I didn't try the same files, I have used iSquint, and gotten some good results. Sometimes tho, when opening the converted files on the computer, it will cause dt to hang, and slow everything to a crawl. A force-quit, which takes some time in this case, will bring the machine back. Trying to play a movie like that on the iPod causes it to freeze, and I have to reboot it. I haven't investigated it much more yet, as I left town for Thanksgiving.
