I've just noticed that, when I plug in my Shuffle, iTunes 6.0.1 now updates my play counts. I'm almost certain that this has only started happening after applying the Apple iPod Updater 2005-11-17, but I could be embarrassingly wrong. Anyone noticed this happening before the latest update?

Mine worked before. I guess the updater might have fixed a bug with yours, though.
