Hi, I own a iPod 4G 20 gb model. It has been 11 month since I bought it and it has problems with its clickwheel.

I apologize if this problem has been covered in other topics, but I just can't seem to find it, so I'll post it here.

Here's the thing.

When I press "Menu" button, sometimes it functions like "middle button". And when I press the "Play/Pause" button, it functions like "middle button". It doesn't stop there. The "Next" and "Previous" button sometimes acts like that as well.

I didn't drop it, so I'm assuming it's hardware malfunction.

I would contact Apple about it, since you seem to still be in warranty.

I checked out in Apple site, and it saids I have to pay for shipping and handling to have them check it out... and the price is like $30 CDN lower than Applecare for iPod.

So I'm guessing I should just get Applecare?
