Hi there, for some reason my ipod nano seems to beep/bleep (from its internal speaker) several times when i connect it to my powerbook, then it disconnects from the machine, a simple reset by holding down the menu and centre buttons sends it back to normal. Everything loads fine and there are no other issues really, just that it seems like an error tone to me, and if this thing is on the way to the grave it would be great to send it back to apple before the 1 year warranty is up.

Has anyone else had this issue? any ideas what it means?

I cant seem to find anything about it on the apple support site or the various ipod forums on the net.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Harry.
