I bought my son an ipod nana and can not figure out how to download music to the ipod.
Can anyone help? I have the itunes software and we have some songs we downloaded from limewire but can not get these onto the ipod.

Import the songs into itunes and sync the ipod. If you haven't changed any itunes settings the ipod should auto sync when you plug it in.

If your computer is a PC instead of a Mac, you MUST load the iPod software as well as iTunes. It's the only way the PC will be able to see the iPod at all.

I installed the software that came with it and tried to use limewire where my sons has some songs at but it did not work but if I imported the songs into windows media player then imported them into itunes it worked but this process takes so long to do, there must be an easier way, why can I not just take them from limewire and put them into itunes?

1. Find where Limewire saved the songs on your hard drive.

2. drag the folder into the iTunes window using your mouse.

3. There is no step three.
