I just got a 30GB iPod and nothing is working. I have a PC for starters, and once we loaded the software CD, now my iTunes program will no longer open. We have checked everything on the Apple website, did hours and hours of troubleshooting, and still nothing. When you double click iTunes, it won't open (and it worked fine before we ran the iPod sotware CD). Not sure if any of this makes sense, but can anyone help???

I'd try uninstalling itunes then just download the latest version from apple.com and see if that works. If that doesnt work sell your windowz box and get a mac mini if you dont game it will be your best investment.

Uninstalling iTunes is a good idea. After that, restart the computer and reinstall the whole CD that came with the iPod, starting with the iPod software. This should not do anything to your music files, but it should fix whatever's gone wrong with the iTunes installation.
