I have a mini ipod and a powerbook 12", and I have transferred music files from mac to ipod easily before. But today, I transferred music from a ripped CD to the ipod, and when I play it on the ipod, only 3 seconds of the beginning play. (Sometimes less than 3 seconds, depending on which song.) The songs play in full on my computer, whether its from my Library or if its from the Ipod that is connected.

I was wondering what would cause this (it is a foreign CD, but Itunes still identified it with English names), how I could prevent it, and if there is a way to fix it. I tried deleting the files from the Ipod and transferring them again, but it didn't work and still ended with the same problem. And I know I waited until Itunes said the update was complete and I know I ejected the Ipod before I took it out.
