I have a 30GB iPodvideo and a PowerBook Superdrive. The pod displays "Do not disconnect" but does not show up on desktop or iTunes. I've restarted, reset, logged out, all to no avail. Any ideas?

EDIT : Ok, so it's finally working again. All the same, I'm feeling down on either the new iPods or UBS. I never had invisible iPod problems with firewire, but it's becoming a biweekly or at least monthly event since I got my VideoiPod.

What's the best way to get your computer to recognise your iPod?
