TV shows on Video IPOD.....

I just got a video Ipod and i bought two Law and orders off of Itunes and all they play is sound! What the hell? IS that all it can do or can it play the actual picture as well. I am getting frusterated with this....  I also am have a butch of a time download quick PRO 7 to convert my movies. and i am not paying 30.00 bucks for it...HELP

Yes, of course it can play the video as well. Can you tell us how you are accessing the shows on the iPod? Make sure it is through the "Videos" menu.
Also, there are better options for converting video than Quicktime 7. It's too slow.

What are those better opinons I have a windows xp comptuer and I seen some sites where videos can be converted in ipod format but are there any windows programs I have quick time pro and it is so slow it takes like 7hours to convert a 4mintue movie into the ipod format

Before you roll your eyes, remember that these are the MACNN forums. It shouldn't come as any surprised that we focus on the Macintosh side of things. If you're on windows, check out Videora iPod convertor ( www.videora.com). It takes some getting used to, especially if you want to do widescreen movies) but it's free and fast. Also check out the forums at www.ilounge.com for more windows-centric advice.

i did access it through videos and still nothing. Since i bought it from Itunes i thought it would automatically work!! I am not a wiz with computers so this is really confusing. What should i do? thanks!!

also it doesn't play the picture in Itunes either......and where do i go in ilounge to download a video converter and how do i convert once i do download it..I am so sorry i am asking all these annoying questions that you guys have probablly explained a million times but i am so confused and really want to be able to watch videos on my ipod....thanks!!!

Ok now I went here ( www.videora.com). and I downloaded the videora tiVo Converter now how do I covert the videos into ipod format?

Ok i fixed teh first problem i called Apple support and they told me to restore my IPOd and now the TV show are playing. Now i just have to figure out how to transfer my music video i downloaded off to my IPOD this will probablly take anotehr eight hours to accomplish!!!
