Out of nowhere (no drops or anything) it started to skip on a song...so I reset it, and now it gives me the error icon and gives me the url to apple's support page.

Well, I've tried charging it...and now I want to try the updater app, the only problem is...it wouldn't run (beach ball till I force quit it) and so I deleted it...now I downloaded updater again, and now it won't install, just gives me SKIP as an option. argh...what do I do?
