ipod mini won't go off shuffle

I have a 4gb 2g ipod mini, and set it to shuffle last night. This morning I turn it on and I can't get the menus to work. I click on menu nothing. I can only adjust the volume and skip songs. Any ideas?

Try to reset it. Hold the 'Menu' & center button down until it resets and see if that helps any.
