Hey all.

I know there are companies who replace IPOD batteries. But, if you had to replace a 20 GB hard drive in a 2G IPOD, is this possible and can it be done? Also can you put a 5400 RPM drive in an IPOD as well?

Sorry had to ask, just want to know.

-Thanks.

A 5400 RPM 1.8" hard drive? Do they exist? I don't think so! Prove it!

As for the HD replacement, supposedly, you can replace the drive the perform a system restore and BOOM: new HD!

Drive is easy to replace... but not really worth it. Check ebay for parts.
