Err ... iCleaner won't do anything about pixels on the LCD screen.
Anyway, it does a wonderful job on the plastic side of things. Using 3-4 cleanings, you can get rid of some pretty considerable scratches on both the iPod and iBook (and anything else made out of similar plastic). As for the metal cleaner, I wouldn't recommend it too much. The metal cleaner is a micro-abrasive, meaning that what it does is "scratches" the metal back of the iPod with microscopically-sized particles. This has the effect of "sanding out" any bigger scratches. The end result under room lighting is an iPod that is not quite as mirror-like, but doesn't have visible scratches, though under sunlight it looks like a very finely sanded metal (like brushed aluminum, but with markings in all directions, since you did it by hand).
