iPod purchase date incorrect?

	Hello all, I'm just planning on selling my iPod off, and wanted to check to make sure that it was still covered by its warranty. I bought it in February 2005 from a third party retail shop, and when I went to check the purchase date, it was listed as 03-December-2004. Which, obviously, takes out three months of warranty and some benefit when selling it. I still have the orignal reciept and purchase confirmation details from the company I bought it off (Dick Smith Electronics). Is there anyway I can get in touch with Apple, show them my reciepts, and get them to 'correct' the purchase date? Thanks. (Last edited by B Gallagher; Jan 17, 2006 at 09:50 PM. )
