hi,
I have a 2003 ipod, i guess its the 2G, it has 40 gb and it is the one without movable parts,
my battery only holds a charge for about 2 hours, this bothers me a lot, as I always cared for it, i.e. I always used until the battery was completely empty before charging it.

What can I don about this? will a reset help this?

Just use one of the battery replacement kits out there. They give you the tools and instructions so that you can do it yourself.
