just got my first ipod, a black nano, 2 days ago.
love it.
immediately got protective plastic for it.

but...

wanted a way to use my black sony headphones AND
wanted a way to wear it (so no apple lanyard).

looked at some cases, ie a clear plastic case with a neck strap.
still, liked the "upside down" idea of apple's strap.

so...made this.

paper clip (over the plastic cover, of course), and a lanyard i've had sitting in a drawer for a decade.

not a problem, u'd have to pull the ipod and the lanyard at the same time...nothing i'm planning on doing...

(maybe i'll put felt on the inside of the clip, tho...)
