I'm converting some of my TV Shows from EyeTV to an iPod compatible format and was wondering if 480x288 should show up nicely on an iPod video. I don't have one yet (waiting for something more powerful (handle better quality video) in the future). But I'm just preparing and testing the waters. Anyway, I'm using mpeg 2 in EyeTV and converting that to .mov or mp4 using 3ivx and Quicktime Pro. Now, the 288 aspect of my resolution is simply due to some cropping but would the iPod display it normally or either too small or stretched? Just curious as to what others have experienced. using the iPod export in EyeTV produces such a huge file (don't know why though)...

Finished my 3ivx export and forgot about the iPod limitation. Files in QT Pro and now I'm doing an export in iPod format to see how that looks.... Maybe someone can test for me.. or I can trade in my iPod photo for a video.
