Hello all,
I have a 30gig iPod photo, and recently I have noticed that I am having problems with certain areas of the clickwheel. The problem seems to be that there is dirt or sand lodged underneath the clickwheel, and when I attempt to essentially press down on certain areas causing a 'click' I find that the clickwheel doesn't move in, it actually just stays at the same hight, but the functions still work.

Eg. I click the play/pause part of the clickwheel, and due to the dirt/sand/whatever it is lodged in there, it doesn't move in creating an awkward feeling and sometimes I have to press the area a few times to get it to actually work.

I was wondering what you guys think I should do, I have contemplated removing the case, and trying to get the dirt out myself, but I don't really want to do that. Also the iPod should stil l be under warranty (allowing the warranty is 12 months) So if there is still a warranty on it maybe I should take it to an apple shop, do you think this is a good option?

If it proves to be too much of a hassle I am willing to sell it and get more money together and buy an iPod video, anyway I would just like to get this clickwheel problem resolved a.s.a.p. If you have any suggestions on this issue please give me your comments.

Jason.
