I have connected my iPod (20G, touch wheel) to the computer for the first time, when the iPod Updater jumped. I clicked 'ok' to update my iPod program, only after that action my computer no longer recognized my iPod, and vise versa. now when I turn on my iPod it just tells me I have to connect it to the computer and turnes off. what do I do??

Wow. That has never happened to my mini before, and I have used software updates many times. I would take it to the Genius Bar, if it is still under warranty. Good luck!
