My ipod has been acting up alot on me lately, ie freezing, running through my entire library when i select to play one song and all this other crap. Now today I opened up itunes and it said that it could not recover some songs from my library and i clicked yes to recover them. The nextime i plugged my ipod into my PC and it updated my playlist, i ejected my ipod and noticed that the album art for the first artist in the library was displayed for every other song on my ipod. On my itunes, all album art is fine but on my ipod it shows one particular album cover for every song. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and any tips on how i would go about solving it.

PS - i had to manually add the album art to all of my music files wondering if anyone knows of a program that might do this for you?

I have had some issues with album art now showing, I think I solved it opening the iPod preferences in iTunes, un-check album art, closing preferences, sync with the iPod, then going to preferences again and re-check album art and finally sync it again.

Angelmb's suggestion should work.

As for capturing album artwork, I personally use Fetch Art (for Mac OS X):

It appears in a drop-down menu like the LAME converter, and you can select as many songs as you want to get album art for.
