Finally the drive on my daughters 4th gen 40 gig is dead. It's been making a clicking noise on & off for 2 mos. If you tap it on the side it usually goes for a couple of weeks, but not now.

Got all the music onto the hard drive anyway.

So, where can I get a replacement 20 or 30 gig hard drive for a good price. I here the 40 gig had issues & a new style is on the way. Don't need 40 gig anyway & don't want to spend a fortune.

Is there a disk utility like Norton checkdisk that can block bad clusters if I get it going?
