Cool, almost makes a tie worth wearing--just kidding! Nothing justifies wearing a tie?
'Course, there's also the completely off-topic tidbit about hospitals requesting that Doctors not wear ties when making their rounds because the ties don't get cleaned often enough. Turns out the ties act as infection vectors: Touch the patient, adjust your tie, go wash your hands before your next patient, but then touch the dirty tie!
Well, not likely to wear an iPod tie, not being a doctor nor in a hospital, nothing applies: Just wishing that ties would be outlawed, that's all. Shades of Don Quixote tilting at windmills, I know...

I can definitely see a niche for this tie when paired with some good, flesh-colored BT earphones: It'd be perfect for all those boring meetings!
Still, I don't suppose there's any need to wear it with the Burton jacket?
