My ipod 30gb Will not play videos with sound on my computer or my ipod once i have converted them. If i have the video in itunes it plays once i converte it to be ipod ready it has no sound at all. I am a Windows xp user and i don't know a lot about computers so if anyone could please help me figure out why i don't have audio i would appriceate it.

are you trying to convert the videos in itunes? if so i had similar trouble. you have to download a video converter. i use the jodix converter. http://www.ipod-video-converter.org/ its not really any different than other converters, but it is spyware free and its easy to use.

Hello there, I've got a very similar problem.

I can't seem to hear any sound from the iTunes music store or when I play back any vid's that I've downloaded. The vid's run fine, but no sound, the music only files don't seem to be affected by this and they all play ok.
