I'm curious about the possibility of upgrading the hard drive in my 6GB mini. Anybody know if this is possible, or if anyone has posted pictures/procedures for opening it up? If I remember (and I'm probably wrong), the mini uses a 1" drive, not the 1.25" or 1.5" or whatever is in the full-size iPods. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No manufacturer that I know of has a drive larger than the 6GB drive you have that will fit in the mini.

Its a cramped space inside the ipods.

Hmm. Anybody know of any plans for one, or is flash memory the new wave, leaving small hard disks in the lurch? just curious. I'm not out of space yet.
