j/w if there is anything i can do with apple or w/e i doubt i can though. ya someone stole it during athletics and im gonna do my best to try and get it back, but any help or deffenent answers of no would be kewl. thanks.

I don't know how this could help you, maybe to report the iPod's serial number… but you can 'prove' that certain model of iPod was attached to your Mac… go to iTunes Preferences and clic on the iPod icon, then clic on the text that says 'No iPod connected', that gives you the serial of the last iPod used with your Mac.
