Sorry if this was already asked, I couldn't find anything.

Please help!!

I had a Ibook, which I dropped and cracked the motherboard

I have gone back to a PC and bought a DELL. I want to transfer my music from my Ipod mini which was set up on the MAC. When I plugged it into my DELL I got a message that it would have to be reconfigured and I would loose all songs and playlist

Any suggestions on what I can do? Since my Ibook is dead I have no way to burn my music onto disk.

Is it possible to save my music and have it on my PC?

Thank you!!!!

I don't think iPods use HFS, and the "formatting" done on an iPod merely tells it what kind of machine to expect updates from.

There's a PC application called EphPod that lets you do a LOT of stuff. It allowed me to recover when my main music hard drive bit the dust early this year. I do not know if it will work with an iPod that's expecting to plug into a Mac.
