I have a 4th gen, (actually my second after my first one's HD died) that turns on and goes right to a support screen with an icon of a folder with an explanation point on it.

It tells me to go to www.apple.com/support
Anyone else expereienced this?

Better yet anyone have a solution? This ipod was formatted for use on a PC but I have access to macs if they provide any extra capability of fixxing it.

It sounds like the HD spins up when I first turn it on, as I can hear it but I never hear any of the clicks you hear when it reads data.

Thanks guys
