Hey

My ol' Powerbook has packed up - apparently a fried hard-drive...

Fortunately, my 300 GB music collection was on an unfried external HD (and backed up onto another) but my playlists aren't - damn...

Fortunately, most of them are on my iPod. I have iPodRip, but I don't want to re-import these playlists in their entirety because the songs are already back in iTunes. All I want is some way of downloading the ratings metadata from the iPod to iTunes that will link the songs to their ratings... I don't want any more duplicates and I have over 4,000 songs rated...

Is there anything I can use?

You wouldn't believe how many forums I've searched for this answer...

I can't seem to find an answer to this specific question - answers regarding getting music back to iTunes, but nothing about just the playlist data...
