This is a cool Nano accessory especially for bikers like myself….
The features of the iBikeMount are:
Designed specifically for use of iPod nano
• Easily attaches to a variety of handlebar sizes (22mm – 26mm)
• No tools requires to attach or remove
• Lightweight (1.4oz)
This thing is really on my biker’s list!!!

Riding a bike + Changing song on iPod Nano = Dangerous.
Riding a bike + Listening to music on iPod = Dangerous.
Besides, if I were to ride a bike and listen to my iPod - I'd just, uh... put it in my pocket. And it doesn't cost a dime.

I listen to NPR and talky podcasts while riding my bike at times. I rationalize it by saying that there are a lot more silent gaps in talking than in music. I'll admit it might still be unwise.
But listening to music while strikes me as unquestionably dangerous. Changing songs, not so much.
w/r/t that product, though, it's totally stupid. You don't want your headphones going from the bars to your head. Also, it would make changing songs a teeny bit more dangerous: you might tangle your arm in the phones cord and get distracted or press too hard and turn the bars, knocking the bike out from under you. Not to mention looking away from the road/path for too long.
Keep it in your pocket, volume low, using a playlist you're expecting to like. That my $.02

I guess it really matters what sort of riding you're doing... in a busy urban environment, I'd totally agree and say that this product is supporting a dangerous habit. But on the other hand, if one were just riding simple paved trails near lakeshore (or anything close to that matter), it'd pretty much be the same scenario as a jogger with a nano.

You know, your threads don't get any better if you keep referring to articles but DON'T POST THE LINK.
Of course, I assume you're expecting people to ask, so you can spam your own website again...
How about a simple link to the ORIGINAL ARTICLE? Not yours - the one you link to on your blog?

DCapple knows that people will eventually open up his images in a separate window and then jump to his blog.
I don't know who he's been sleeping with to get away with it, but I find it lamentable that someone like Simon gets banned and someone like this gets to crap up the forums with spam for cheesy Asian goods.

"Cheesy Asian goods"?
What is that, some kind of not-so-thinly-veiled racism?
It's just a blog, you know. But it does generate revenue via advertising links for every hit.

I may be confusing DCapple with chinatown, but I don't see what's racist about calling something a cheesy Asian good if indeed it is cheesy and Asian.
Hint: If you're going to spam Asian products on a Mac site, at least let it be something drool-worthy.

Amen. The spam never stops and DCapple never gets banned.

I was confused because you were referring to DCapple's blog as "cheesy Asian goods". It seemed so non-sequitur that I decided to ask.
You were mixing up two different people, and all is clear now and fine by me.
No worries.

Even so - you're still implying it.
95% of the threads that you create provide useless, uninteresting information with no substance. I can Photoshop a picture and make up stories, too - but guess what? I don't. If I start a new thread, I make sure it has substance and that its relevant. Just because your postings contain third party items manufactured for the iPod doesn't mean that it belongs here. In case you didn't know, a forum like this (specifically, forums tailored for certain Mac products such as the iPod, iMac, MacBook Pro/Powerbook, etc) is not here for random threads talking about crappy third-party items that may or may not exist, they are here to help real people with real issues concerning their Apple products. I love to help people when I can - but it becomes increasingly harder when I have to sort through junk like this.
Forums were created for support, technical issues, and feedback.
Blogs were created for useless, often uninteresting information.
Your threads belong in a blog - not in a forum like this. Not even the Lounge, for that matter.
I'm usually not one to call out on others shortcomings, but you're acting as if you're the victim here. You're not. Please re-examine what you're doing, and think twice before embarking upon threads like these again.
And just so you know, if you were to post information regarding news that you found at a reputable news site - such as a technology magazine's website, CNN, MSNBC, heck - even FOX, then I'm sure none of us would have issues with your posts. But like I said, Photoshop'd artwork and a made-up news tidbit isn't really news - it's fantasy, and therefore not relevant to this sub-forum.
