I was at Costco yesterday and they were selling the 30 gig iPod video and the 2 gig nano for 10-20 bucks off the retail price.

Several weeks ago they were selling the G4 iMacs and mac minis there too.

I know that sometimes the ipods are sold in the stores (you can always buy them online at Costco), but their appearance now seems most likely to point to inventory clearance before product refresh at the end of the month. iTunes BD is on the 28th I believe.

Any guesses what the new vid and nano pods are going to be like?

Costco used to stock iPod+HP for about $30 off list plus 10 free iTMS songs. I think Apple is just restoring this retail opportunity, hopefully for the long term.

I agree it would be great it Apple sold iPods regularly in Costco stores. Macs would be great too.

Still this seems to be different to me. A few weeks back Costcos had the old mini and iMacs on sale (both had 3 yr applecare warranties included and the mini had keybarod and mouse as well).
The trend at this moment seems to be clearing inventory.
