I own an IPOD Mini, my problem is in my ipod screen, it shows an exclamation point along with a folder. I believe this means I may have the wrong software installed?
Well I go to the IPOD site to download the updater. But when I use it, it says "service error". What does this mean? I dont even get the option to restore. It`s greyed out.
If I do have the wrong software installed, how do I go about uninstalling that to get the right software in it?
At this point, all I want to do is restore the damn thing and start over. If I were to restore it, all my songs will still stay in the library, right?
