Ok I am completely computer illiterate essentially and have no idea where to find the utilites folder for my ipod. All I want to do is to delete all my songs of my ipod. I tired deleting them but now they won't even play but they still show up on the ipod. Does anyone know how to competely restart my ipod??? I am so lost. Thanks

Yes, you do sound lost. What makes you think you need to look for a "utilities folder"?

Anyway, you need to use iTunes to add and delete music from your iPod. What iPod do you have? And are you using a Mac or PC?

on the mac, go to applications>utilities folder>ipod software updater and run the ipod updater
from there you will need to perfrom a restore. this will bring the ipod back to factory settings

on a peecee, go to all programs>ipod folder>ipod updater and again, run the restore via the ipod updater program

if you dont have any, or still cant find these...

www.apple.com/ipod/download will give you the most current version of the ipod updater for whatever your OS is
