Would I be able to gut this thing and instal the drive in my 3G iPod? My drive went bad and I'm trying to find a cheap way to revive it.

If that won't work, what is the cheapest way to get a new hard drive? They seem pretty expensive.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

No, you can't put a 2.5" drive (from your link) in a 1.8" enclosure (your iPod).

1.8" drives are expensive; about $5/GB. Froogle it.
