I put all of my music onto my Ipod from my old computer as i have purchased a new computer. When i came to put the music back onto Itunes, i was not able to do so.. My Ipod shows up on Itunes, but i cannot take any of my music from it, no other program can take my music off either.. What can i do??

It's not designed to work that way. iTunes IS designed to allow you to import your songs from the old computer, through a network cable, through target disk mode, even burning the MP3s onto a CD. I'd connect the old computer to the new one and move the files that way.
