Hi,

I love my new Black iPod video 30 gb. I bought the Agent 18 clear case as recommended by the salesman at the Apple Store.

I like the case overall, but I have these "wet spots" or air bubbles under the case that appear immediately and persist despite cleaning, pressing and everything else I try. They are adjacent to the track wheel (not really a problem) but also right in the middle of the beautiful display. I dont have any film over the screen, just the clear case.

Anybody find a way to get these "wet spots" to go?

Thanks,

Those are either air bubbles (as you said) or the opposite-really close adhesion of the case to the iPod itself. There IS a way to get rid of the variation: you must apply the case over the screen SLOWLY and EVENLY. Some gel-case manufacturers sell their cases with a little spreader tool that allows you to push the gel-case down on the iPod very evenly-you could try using a credit card (or those fake ones they keep sending me!) to do the same thing.

Thanks for the reply

I agree that it seems to be some adhesive forces between the close fitting case and ipod. But as slowly and evenly as I can apply it (and dozens of tries), I cannot get these spots to go. I can press on the case and get the spots to move, but I cannot get them to move all the way to an edge or disappear.

I am wondering if anyone has used a tiny spacer of some sort to keep the case and ipod slightly apart?

And do the films people use over the iPod screen make this problem better or worse?

I am surprised that more people dont have this problem.
