I use my 4G iPod keep myself busy while ridding on lawn mowers all day. The past few weeks I have been having a lot of problems with it. At times it will begin to skip, sometimes it will continue to play music but the screen will be frozen. Just last week it froze up on me until I got home and plugged it into the wall. This weekend I had a hard time syncing my iPod to my computer. iTunes won't open once I plug my iPod into my computer. If I start iTunes up and then plug my iPod in, iTunes won't recognize my iPod. I open up My Computer and I see my iPod as a removable HDD but cannot open it.
Today, I go to start work and start my iPod up. For some reason I was in the mood to listen to The Presidents of the United States but upon pressing play, my iPod freezes up. Try pressing the select/menu - nothing happens. This was at 7 am, it is now 3:15 pm and it is still frozen. I've tried plugging it in, moving the hold switch back and forth then holding the select/menu buttons, but still no luck! I updated the firmware a few days ago and all that good sh*t but I still have a problem. Even when I try plugging my iPod into my current computer, or my office computer, The computer doesn't recognize my iPod. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOO????!!!! Thanks for your help guys - I'm FREAKIN out!
