I'm selling my ipod that is formatted to use the mac. If I sell it to somebody that has windows , how do I format it to work in windows?

If you've already used the "Restore" option in the Mac iPod updater, the iPod is in the factory state. The Windows buyer should simply need to use the Windows iPod updater and the "Restore" option in it to change the format.
