On the screen of my ipod it says, Disk Mode, Ok to disconnect and there’s a big tick. I can’t seem to get rid of the message and it wont let me enter my ipod to listen to my music or anything. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It doesn't go away even if you disconnect it from your computer? What kind of computer are you using? Have you restored it with iPod software update?

A reset should clear that-hold down Menu and Select for about 10 seconds.

I'm going to fix the title of the thread-it should be more descriptive of the question.

Great, I needed that combination. My sis bought a 30 gig iPod video. And I'm playing around with it because she doesn't know what to do.
Anyway, I was transfering movie trailers onto it, and after watching the one for Pirates 2 the thing just froze, and I just sat there staring at the black screen
It runs again, gonna watch the trailer again to see what it does this time.

EDIT: everything went smoothly, wierd that it hung the first time. Ooh well
