My First iPod...now what's up with my videos?

I just plugged in my new iPod, but under the video tab, the "Do Not Update Videos" tab is check-marked and I can't seem to uncheck it. I want to load some firefly on this thing and take it for a spin, anyone know why this option isn't available?

It thought "Oh you WANT to update videos... OK, do it!" These are very smart devices, but they get notional.
