I've had my ipod nano for about a month now and while on my way out of my apartment building I noticed the following problem. After turning it on and attempting to access one of the sub music menus the screen goes black and the grey apple logo appears for a 15 or 20 seconds and then the screen goes back to where it was. So now I can't access any other menu (and wouldn't be able to use it at all if the shuffle option wasn't on the same menu).

I tried re-setting it and that didn't make any difference so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you restored it with iPod updater? This might fix it. If it doesn't I would say it is time for a trip to the store.

I updated it and the problem cleared up; thanks (which is lucky for me since I couldn't find the receipt).
