Help! For some reason when I try to transfer an album's worth of songs from itunes onto my ipod (mini) they are appearing in alphabetical order and not the order of the actual album! Any ideas?!

When you say they are appearing in alphabetical order, you mean they appear that way on your iPod when viewed by artist (not on a playlist)? Do the songs have anything for their "track number" item if you get info on them?

Thanks for the reply. When I copy and paste them from my download playlist (which is in the correct order) they appear on my ipod playlist and my ipod in alphabetical order instead of the right album order. I've created a playlist for the album which is fine, but if you search by 'artist', the album is in alphabetical order!

only the album playlist is in album order, any other browsing will alphabetize (by song, by artist, any category)

You could be right. I looked at my iPod mini just now, It has about 13 album playlists on it. When I look at playlists, each one they are in the order of the albums. But when I look at the browser under songs, it has ordered them alphabetically, one long list of songs from all albums in alphabetical order. However, under Album list, looking up each album, the order is totally mixed, different for each album and not in album order. Each album is in alphabetize, though. It's the content of each sub-album list that is not.

Go to "Get Info" when you are in your library, and enter the correct track number for all of your ripped songs.
