I'm new to iPod (5G 60GB) and now that I've loaded it up with music and artwork, I was wondering if there were any apps that allow you to scroll through the albums and select via the artwork ala ColorFlow on iTunes?

Thanks, Dex

I wish I wish I wish.

This is my number 1 pined-for feature. It isn't possible.

Rats!

One would think that such an interface would be painfully obvious. Well, maybe they'll get 'round to it eventually!

Could be a bit hard on the drive unless they cached all the artwork in a single area when you sync

Seems to work just fine for scrolling through photo libraries.

I see absolutely no reason why they can't use the exact same caching technique to scroll through album covers.

Writing a program that will play the appropriate album when you hit the center button on a cover shouldn't be *too* difficult - as long as the covers stay in sync with the music. Probably less easy when the thing isn't auto-synced but on manual, as the image cache would have to get updated every time a song is added to the iPod...hmm.
