Charging iPod without mounting

	I want to be able to charge my iPod from my computer without having it get mounted on the desktop when I plug it in. 'cause, I'd like to be able to keep playing my music while charging, and it's rather jarring to have it cut off when the iPod goes into "do not disconnect" mode. I'm aware I can BUY a firewire cable or an AC charger for my iPod, but I just busted the bank to get the iPod (and a Mac Pro), and I don't want to go shelling out more money for a charger.
