I've got a DLO Transpod that I've been using my pre color screen iPod on forever, and I'm about to order the new 80G iPod, but I'm wondering if it will fit the TransPod. I'm unsure of the dimensions of my Ipod, but I have to assume since the TransPod works with the 5G, and the 6G are supposedly not much different in size, that it would be fine.

It'll probably work. The new iPods certainly aren't 6th generation. Just a refresh to the 5th.

The updated video iPods are the same size. The only ones that changed dimensions are the Nano and the Shuffle.

the new 30gig ipod is slimmer by a little over 30%. just look up your gen and try to find the dimensions on it. and compare to the now 80gig. and see just how much of a difference.
