Ive had my Ipod for under 5 months and it was working just fine, now one side of my headphones doesn't play (the right). Ive changed my headphones about 4 times now, hoping that it was just my headphones, but its the actual Ipod. (I've tried the headphones on other items and they all worked fine.) I sent it in to get fixed, since its still under the warrenty.. but they sent it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it, even though.. its still not playing on the one side. What can i do to fix this problem? It drives me nuts not being able to hear my music properly.

play around with the headphone plug and make sure it is in all the way. Have the headphones on your ears while doing this.

take it to you Apple store and see if they can fix or exchange it.

I have did that, and it still doesn't work. If i hold the headphone plug on an angle.. it works.. sometimes. Most of the time though its just one sided. And i don't have an apple store close enough too me i think the closest one is grand rapids.

the earlier iPods would sometime have the jack get loose internally. The solder joint would go bad on the jack and board.

I would call Apple up and explain the situation to them (ask for management if you must). Get a return authorization number RMA and send it back. Don't wait the sooner the better (warranty).
